To clean an Oriental rug properly, it should be cleaned in an environment where it can be properly dried. We have cleaned hundreds of rugs over the years – ranging from your average department store style to expensive wool and other handmade rugs from around the world.

The process includes:

1. A pile lifter and vacuum is used to remove as much dry soil as possible.

2. The rug is then sprayed with a preconditioning agent and shampooed with Oriental Rug Shampoo

3. After thoroughly rinsing the rug and cleaning the fringe, the rug is hung to dry in a controlled dry room.
